Pasquale Custom Guitars specializes in the construction of Premium Handcrafted Custom Guitars designed to fulfill the guitarist’s ultimate passion…finding their Tone! We use old world traditional woodworking techniques combined with the latest guitar technology to create the greatest guitars ever played.
Tone is every player’s passion and should be the ultimate goal of every guitar played. Tone is not to be confused with sound. Sound is what comes out of the speaker; tone is what comes from the soul. Tone is a combination of touch and feel as well as sound and silence. It is the ultimate expression of the individual and it is what every artist strives to express.
The goal of Pasquale Custom Guitars is to produce the best sounding, most well-balanced and responsive guitars possible allowing each player the ability to express themselves to their fullest potential. The guitar becomes an extension of the player and responds to every nuance of their style. This encompasses every element of the guitar, from its look, to its feel, to its playability. Every component must be in harmony to unleash the true responsiveness of the player.
Our designs start with natural wood equalization. All the woods are hand selected for maximum resonance. We balance the lows, mids and highs in the body, neck and fingerboard woods. We then select specially designed pickups and EQ circuits to allow a greater range of signal control to achieve a broader spectrum of tones. The body designs are contoured for comfort and balance to allow greater ease and comfort while playing. These components allow the guitar to be an extension of the player.
Every neck joint is set by hand, focusing specifically on precision fit and neck angle which ensures the best possible transfer of string vibration and the most precise string angle across the body resulting in the smoothest possible playing action.
Every nut is also set and cut by hand, allowing precision string spacing as well as precise string height for accurate intonation. Pasquale only uses premium grade hardware securing the best possible tuning and stability. Variables for a guitar are numerous and Pasquale controls each to produce a guitar that is a true work of art.
Does any of this make a difference?
