My career as a guitar builder began as a frustrated player who was trying to find ways to improve my own guitars. Part of that process was troubleshooting existing hardware and products that were standard features on existing guitars. Like most players I became extremely frustrated with the standard tremolo system that came with the standard Fender Stratocaster style guitar.

Like most players I went through a phase with the Floyd Rose Tremolo but as I developed as a builder I realized that not every player wants the feel of the locking tremolo so I set out to find a solution to the problems of the standard non-locking tremolo.
